SSC CCGL 2021 Exam dates were released by the Staff Selection Commission on July 2. The SSC CGSL Exam 2021 will be conducted across the nation in the online mode from August 13 to 24. The candidates were eagerly waiting for the new exam dates because SSC postponed the exam because of the rise in COVID-19 infections across the nation in April. The SSC CGL 2021 Exam was slated to be conducted from May 29 but it was postponed.
The SSC CGL exam 2021 will be conducted online in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. There will be severe competition in the SSC CGL 2021 exam because 6506 vacancies were notified in the SSC CGL Exam notification and accordingly the number of applications was increased. The SSC CGL exam 2021 will be conducted to screen out the candidates for the second level of the exam. The SSC CGL exam recruitment process includes four tiers of the exam. From August 13, the SSC CGL Tier-I exam will be conducted.

In the SSC CGL 2021 Tier-I exam, there will be 100 questions and the candidates need to solve them in one hour. The candidates will have less than a minute time to solve the question in the SSC CGL tier-1 exam. Besides it, there will be a negative marking of half mark. It means that 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer marked by the candidate.
The SSC CGL Exam 2021 was notified on December 29, 2020. The applications were filled in January 2021. The SSC CGL is the premiere exam of SSC and it is conducted to recruit the Assistant Section Officers (ASO) in the Union Government offices.
