SSC CGL 2022 Syllabus was notified in the official notification. The syllabus is the ready-reckoner for the exam. The candidates should prepare the topics given in the syllabus and in addition to that, they should also prepare the sub-topics and associated topics that are not mentioned in the official syllabus. No weightage of topics is defined in the official notification hence the candidates need to prepare all the topics and divide their time accordingly. SSC CGL syllabus along with the question paper is helpful for the candidates. The candidates should note down the weightage of topics and the difficulty level of the questions asked from the topic to plan their preparation in a better way. The candidates should do this exercise with previous year's papers to get the average weightage of the topics.
SSC CGL Syllabus is the most important component of exam preparation. The syllabus is officially defined in the notification every year but it does not change frequently so the candidates can prepare for the exam by taking into account the topics given in the previous year's syllabus. The syllabus serves as the guiding force for the preparation. The SSC CGL syllabus outlines the topics which are common to the preparation for various exams. Hence, the preparation is slightly common. One thing that makes the preparation different is the structure of the paper and the type and difficulty level of question papers.
SSC CGL exam is conducted in four tiers. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) prescribes a detailed SSC CGL syllabus for tier-I and -II of the exam. However, there is no prescribed syllabus for SSC CGL Tier-III and -IV exams. Given below is the complete tier-wise SSC CGL syllabus 2022.
