SSC CGL, CHSL, JHT & JE Applicants to Update Aadhaar Biometrics Amid Registration Issues

SSC Registration 2025 Issues: The Staff Selection Commission has issued a notice regarding the SSC Biometric registration 2025. The notice states that some candidates applying for SSC CGL, CHSL, JHT, and JE exams are facing difficulties related to biometric authentication or registration during the application process. To avoid such issues, candidates must ensure that their Aadhaar details and biometric information are correctly updated.

This SSC Biometric registration 2025 notice pdf is in continuation of the notices issued on April 16, May 9 and June 4, 2025, as well as the Aadhaar Policy of the Commission dated May 23, which are available on the SSC’s official website: ssc.gov.in.

In case, any candidate's Aadhaar biometrics are not updated or are causing errors during SSC registration for any of the exams, then they must visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Centre and get them updated at the earliest. This will help ensure a smooth SSC application process for the SSC CGL, CHSL, JHT, and JE exams.

Aadhaar Linking Now Mandatory for SSC One Time Registration (OTR)

Earlier, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released an official notice announcing an important update to the registration process. Starting June 2, 2025, the One Time Registration (OTR) system has been made Aadhaar-enabled. This means that all candidates applying for SSC exams such as CGL, CHSL, CPO, JE, and others in the 2025 cycle are required to link their Aadhaar details during the OTR process.
