SSC CGL Result 2022 Released

SSC CGL Result 2022 has been announced online on April 8, 2022. This result was scheduled for February 15, but it was delayed because of the pending cases in the Honourable High Court and Central Administrative Tribunal. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) also released the Category-wise cutoff for all the posts separately.

How to check SSC CGL Result 2022?

The candidates can check their SSC CGL result 2022 in the manner given below:

  • Visit the official website of SSC – ssc.nic.in.
  • Click on the result tab at the top of the page.
  • Click on the SSC CGL result link.
  • Find your roll number in the SSC CGL result PDF.
  • Download and save the link.

Note: Candidates who cannot find their roll numbers in the SSC CGL merit list have not cleared the exam.

SSC CGL result declared 7,700 candidates eligible for appointment on the designated posts against the total number of vacancies 8,428 vacancies. The result notice also mentioned the

Tie-resolution principle for the candidates.

SSC CGL Tie Resolution Principle

In the event of a tie in scores of candidates in Tier-I + Tier-II + Tier-III examinations, merit has been decided by applying the following criteria, one after another, in the order, till the tie is resolved:

  • Total marks of relevant papers in Tier-II Examination
  • Total marks in Tier-III Examination
  • Date of birth, with older candidates, placed higher
  • Alphabetical order in which the names of the candidates appear

The tie resolution principle makes it clear that the marks secured in the relevant paper of the Tier-II exam will have priority over all the other marks. Earlier the SSC CGL result was delayed due to the pending court case.
