The SSC CHSL 2020-21 conducted by Staff Selection Commission is not postponed even when the COVID-19 cases are rising in the most populous states of the country. The SSC CHSL exam 2020 was scheduled to be conducted from April 12 to 27 at the designated exam centres across the nation. The schedule was declared last year when the COVID-19 cases were declining.

The COVID-19 cases are rising at an exponential rate across the nation and various exams such as CBSE Class Xth had been cancelled. The Intermediate exams of almost all the states are postponed. Even the NTA NEET exam scheduled to be conducted on April 18 was also postponed.
The SSC CHSL exam 2020 was postponed in West Bengal because of the Legislative Assembly elections in the state. The SSC will conduct the CHSL exam in May in the state.
Amid all the events, SSC tweeted that the SSC CHSL exam 2020 will not be postponed and the tweet urged the candidates to reach the SSC Exam centre on time for the exam. The SSC CHSL exam is conducted online in the Computer-Based Exam (CBE). The candidates were expecting that the SSC will postpone the exam but in the recent tweet, it was not postponed.
