SSC releases 11, 271 vacancies for SSC CGL 2018

SSC has released vacancy for SSC CGL 2018, a total number of 11,271 vacancies have been announced.

Central staff selection commission (SSC) has finally announced SSC CGL 2018 tentative vacancy on its official website on December 27, 2019. As per the latest notification, SSC will recruit a total number of 11,271 candidates through CGL 2018 for multiple posts under the Government of India.

Currently, SSC CGL 2018 selection process is underway. SSC has released tentative vacancy for 2018 after conduction of CGL 2018 prelims (Tier I) and mains (Tier II). SSC is going to conduct SSC CGL tier 3 On December 29, 2019. The previous phases were conducted online, the upcoming exam will be conducted in offline mode which is descriptive in nature. The final merit list of the shortlisted candidates will be prepared by aggregating marks of Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III exam.

As per SSC CGL 2018 latest update, the vacancy in Controller General of Defence Accounts department (CGDA) is the highest; a total number of 3,082 vacancies would be filled through SSC CGL 2018. Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (DEPTT. OF REVENUE) has 1729 vacancies for the post of Central Excise Inspector. Apart from this, there are 1072 and 1058 vacancies for the junior Accountant and Tax assistant, respectively. SSC has not released state wise/ zone wise vacancies as it does not collect these data, SSC has requested to contact user departments for state-wise/zone wise vacancies.
