SSC has decided to allow candidates with cough and fever to sit for the upcoming exams. Read the complete details below.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in an official notice issued on October 7 has said that it will allow candidates with cough and fever to appear for the upcoming exams. For such candidates, the SSC will make separate or isolated sitting arrangement.

Earlier on September 29, SSC had released a notification in which it mentioned, "Candidates with COVID-19 positive declaration or symptoms of fever, cough, etc. will not be permitted entry into examination venue. Candidates will be checked with thermo guns at entry point for fever and candidates having above normal temperature will not be allowed entry."

Now, SSC has modified this point and said, β€œCandidates with fever, cough etc, will be allowed to appear in the exam in a separate isolated sitting arrangement.”

SSC has asked candidates to wear face masks and carry hand sanitiser and transparent water bottle to the exam. To avoid over-crowding at exam centres, candidates are asked to reach before the reporting time and maintain six feet distance from each other. The seat allotment mapping will not displayed outside the exam venue. The same will be informed at the entry.

SSC will begin holding exams from October 12 with Combined Higher Secondarv Level (10+2) examination.
