TNPSC Group 4 2020 Counselling Dates released: See here details

TNPSC Group 4 2020 Certificate Verification and Counselling date announced for Steno-Typist and Typist posts. Check here details.

TNPSC Group 4 2020 exam process is activated again for the remaining Steno Typist and Typist posts notified under the TNPSC Group 4 2020 notification. The number of vacancies for the Steno Typist and Typist is 784 and 1901, respectively. The original certificate verification cum counselling will commence from November 2 for the post of Typist and November 28 for the post of Steno-Typist Grade III at the TNPSC Officer in Chennai.

The TNPSC Group 4 results (written) for the remaining posts were released on January 31, 2020. The original certificate cum counselling for the Typist and Steno-Typist post was scheduled in March and April 2020 but because of the coronavirus pandemic, TNPSC postponed the TNPSC Group 4 exam process. Now the commission has notified new dates for the original certificate verification cum counselling for the post of Steno-Typist and Typist.

TNPSC Group 4 notification was released June 14, 2019 for the year 2018-20. In the TNPSC Group 4 notification, six-thousand four hundred ninety-one vacancies were notified. The exam process for other posts was complete before the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the state. Only the exam process of Steno-Typist and Typist post was affected.

The TNPSC Group IV 2018-2020 written exam was conducted on September 1, 2019 at 5575 centres across Tamil Nadu. As per the media reports, approximately 16 lakh candidates appeared in the TNPSC Group IV written exam 2018-2020.
