UGC NET 2024 Exam Deferred Due To Janmashtami
UGC NET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 exam set to be conducted on August 26 on account of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. As per the revised schedule, the UGC NET 2024 will now be held on August 27. The remaining exam dates remain unchanged. They will be conducted as per schedule between August 21 and September 4, 2024.
The official notice pdf reads, "The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC – NET June 2024 Examination in Computer Based Test (CBT), mode for 83 subjects at different cities across the country during 21st August 2024 - 04th September 2024. On account of Shri Krishna Janmashtami on 26th August 2024, National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to reschedule the Examination of 26th August 2024."

Revised UGC NET 2024 Exam Date
UGC-NET is a computer-based test (CBT) held for three hours. The exam includes 50 questions in Paper I and 100 questions in Paper II, each carrying two marks. Paper I assesses the candidate's reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness, while Paper II focuses on the subject chosen by the candidate.
