UPSC released the CAPF(AC) Detailed Application Form (DAF) 2020. Fill the DAF till February 25. Read here instructions to fill the CAPF(AC) DAF 2020.

CAPF (AC) 2020 Detailed Application Form (DAF) was released online on February 25. The candidates can fill the DAF online till February 25. The candidates should fill the form online on the official website before the last date to avoid any last-minute server issues. The CAPF (AC) physical/medical standard test will be conducted by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).

CAPF written result 2020 was released on February 8. The UPSC declared 1287 candidates eligible for the physical/medical standard test (PST). MHA nominated the ITBP this year to conduct the PST for the CAPF exam. In previous years, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) conducted the physical and medical standard test.

The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) are managed and controlled by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in all aspects. The MHA is the cadre controlling authority for the CAPF. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the CAPF Assistant Commandant (AC) exam every year to recruit the candidates for the position of Assistant Commandant in the CAPF in the following forces.

  • Border Security Force (BSF)
  • Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
  • Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
  •  Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
  •  Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)

UPSC also released the detail instructions and CAPF (AC) notification along with the online DAF. The candidates should once again read and understand the eligibility conditions and the details of the medical and physical standard test given in the notification. The candidates are required to attach the scanned copies of all their certificated relevant for the CAPF exam. The candidates will be called for the PST later.
