UPPSC PCS 2018 result was declared on September 11. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission released the Uttar Pradesh Combined/Upper Subordinate Exam 2018 final result online. One hundred and Nineteen candidates were selected for the Deputy Collector post. Deputy Collector is only second to the IAS officers working in the state and Governor directly appoints these officers of the state.

For the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ninety-four candidates were selected. These two positions are most sought after positions by the candidates. The UPPCS PCS exam process was delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic across the state. The UPPSC result is released post-wise and the post-wise rank, name and caste is mentioned in the result PDF.

The UPPSC had conducted the PCS interviews 2018 from July 13 to August 25, 2020. Earlier the UPPCS interviews were to be conducted on all days till August 7, but because of the weekend lockdown implemented in the state, the interviews were rescheduled and ended on August 25. A total of 2669 candidates appeared in the UPPCS interviews 2018.

UPPSC conducted the PCS main exam 2018 from October 18 to 22, 2019 at two exam centres. The UPPSC PCS exam was conducted concurrently in Lucknow and Prayagraj. 16738 candidates appeared in the UPPSC PCS main exam 2018.

The UPPSC 2018 exam was notified on July 6, 2018 for Nine Hundred Eighty-four vacancies. This was the first UPPSC exam notified with the provision of negative marking in the UPPSC Prelims exam.

The UPPSC PCS 2020 exam is scheduled to be conducted on October 11.
