UPSC CSE Mains 2025 Time Table OUT; Check Schedule & Civil Service DAF To Release on July 17

The UPSC CSE Mains 2025 timetable has been released. Candidates can check the UPSC Civil Service Main exam schedule at the official website. Also, they must submit the Civil Services DAF by July 17.

UPSC CSE Main Exam Schedule 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the timetable for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Mains 2025. As per the official notice, the CSE Mains 2025 will commence on Friday, August 22, with the Essay paper and conclude on August 31 with the Optional Subject Paper 2. The UPSC CSE Mains 2025 exams will be conducted in two sessions each day: the first from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the second from 2:30 to 5:30 PM. This year, a total of 14,161 candidates have qualified in the prelims exam to appear in the UPSC CSE Mains paper.

According to the new schedule, the UPSC Civil Service Mains exam will take place on these dates: August 22, 23, 24, 30, and 31. Check the table to know subject-wise UPSC CSE Mains exam schedule here:

The Commission will release the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the Civil Services Mains exam on June 17, 2025. Candidates willing to appear for the UPSC CSE Main exam must submit the DAF online by June 25, 2025. To fill out the UPSC Civil Services Mains Detailed Application Form (DAF), they need to visit the official website upsc.gov.in. On the homepage, click the 'UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination DAF' link in the 'What's New' section. Now, login with roll number and date of birth and fill in the educational and other relevant details.

As per past trends, the Commission generally releases UPSC CSE admit cards two to three weeks prior to the exam date. With the Mains scheduled from August 22 to 31, candidates can expect the UPSC CSE Mains admit card to be released in the second week of August 2025 on the official UPSC website. Only those who have qualified in the prelims exam and have filled DAF will be issued the admit card of UPSC CSE Mains exam 2025.
