UPSC IAS 2020 prelims admit card was released on September 1. The IAS prelims 2020 exam is scheduled to be conducted on October 4, 2020. The candidates can download the IAS admit card 2020 from the official website of the UPSC.

The UPSC e-admit card for the IAS 2020 exam was released well before the stipulated date. The UPSC is proactively working to conduct the IAS exam 2020 with no hassle. The candidates can download the IAS Admit card and arrange travelling and dwelling at the place nearby the IAS exam centre.

How to download IAS 2020 admit card?

To download the IAS admit card, please follow the following steps given here.

Step 1: Please go to the official website of UPSC (http://www.upsc.gov.in/).

Step 2: Click on the ‘UPSC Admit Card’ link available on the right side lower navigation

Step 3: Read the instructions given on the instruction page and click on the ‘Yes’ button.

Step 4: Select any of the given two options –

• By Registration ID
• By Roll Number

Step 5: Enter the IAS 2020 registration ID and date of birth (if ‘By Registration ID’ is selected) or roll number and date of birth (if ‘By Roll Number’ is selected).

Step 6: Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 7: Download the IAS 2020 admit card

Step 8: Save the IAS admit card and take two printouts of the same for the future reference

How to download IAS admit card if forgot registration ID?

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to recover/ re-generate their registration ID:

Step 1: Go to the official website of UPSC (http://www.upsc.gov.in/).

Step 2: Click on the ‘Admit Card’ link available on the right lower navigation of the Home page

Step 3: Read the instructions given on the page and click on the ‘Yes’ button.

Step 4: Click on the link, “Forgot RID’

Step 5: Enter the following details:   

• Name  
• Father’s name
• Mother’s name 
• Date of birth 
• Captcha code as shown on the screen

Step 6: Click on Submit button to recover the registration id.

On clicking the button, a registration ID will be re-generated and sent to the official mobile number and email id.

What to do in case of Misprint in the IAS admit card 2020?

The UPSC admit card is the official information about the IAS exam centre and it is the reflection of the official records of the candidate in the UPSC database.
