UPSC CSE Admit Card 2025: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released UPSC CSE prelims admit card 2025 on May 13, 2025. IAS prelims exam 2025 will be conducted on May 25, 2025. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to recover/ re-generate their registration ID:

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC (http://www.upsc.gov.in/).

Step 2: Click on the Admit Card link available on the Home page of the website.

UPSC IAS Prelims exam day instructions

UPSC has released special instructions for the candidates to take precautions in times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The exam day instructions are given below.

General Instructions

  • One important change this year the IAS prelims admit card structure. This year the UPSC has printed the identity card number on the admit card itself and the candidates are required to carry the same Government identity card with them to the exam venue.
  • The candidates should reach the UPSC exam centres ten minutes before the commencement time of the IAS prelims exam. The candidates might be asked for frisking and it requires time.
  • All types of electronic or communication devices are prohibited at the exam venue. The candidates cannot carry the mobile device even in the switch-off mode. If the candidate is found with any such device, disciplinary action will be taken against him/her which could lead to a ban from future UPSC exams.
  • The candidates should mark their answers on the OMR sheet with a black ballpoint pen only. The answers marked by any other colour pen will not be evaluated.
  • If the candidate mark any specific mark on the roll number or the details given in the answer sheet
  • The candidates should note that any omission/ mistake/discrepancy in encoding/filling in details in the OMR answer sheet, especially with regard to Roll Number and Test Booklet Series Code, will render the answer sheet liable for rejection. Though, it can be changed at the exam venue itself if the invigilator permits to do so.
