UPSC IAS 2020 Interviews will be conducted on August 20 as per schedule

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notice that the Civil Services Personality Test will be conducted on August 20 as per the schedule released earlier. The notice was issued to re-iterate that UPSC interviews will be conducted on Muharram also.
UPSC released the IAS interview schedule on Jue 9. The interviews were started on August 2 and will continue until September 22, 2021. There are over 50 interviews scheduled for August 20, and the candidates are advised to reach the UPSC office at the scheduled time. UPSC will release the result within a week after the completion of the interviews.
UPSC interview is followed by the medical test conducted at the designated hospitals. The candidate needs to report to the assigned hospital where the medical board conducts the medical test of the candidate. The candidate (if rejected) can appeal against the medical test and the medical re-examination will be conducted as directed by the Ministry of Personnel.
UPSC released the Civil Service 2020 notification on 12 February 2020 for 796 vacancies. The IAS Prelims 2020 was scheduled to be conducted on May 31, 2020, but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Later, the exam was conducted on October 4. UPSC released the result of IAS Prelims 2020 on October 23, 2020. The UPSC released the result in 19 days only. The IAS Main 2020 exam was conducted in January 2021 and the result was declared on March 23.
UPSC released the IAS 2021 notification on March 8. IAS Prelims 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on October 10. UPSC will release the admit card in September. The candidates can download here the IAS Prelims 2021 Admit Card.
