UPSC Main exam 2020 Detailed Application Forms (DAF-I) released for the candidates eligible to appear in the IAS Main Exam 2020 scheduled to be conducted from January 8. The DAF-I will be filled online and the candidates need to fill the DAF-I before November 11.

The candidates can fill the DAF-I within the time limit only and the candidates need to submit the scanned copies of all the academic and professional certificates with the DAF-I. The UPSC has provided the list of exam centre along with the instructions released along with the DAF-I.
The Union Public Service Commission has also mentioned in the instructions that the exam centre, where the number of candidates will be less, can be changed. No matter what, the decision of the UPSC will be final in case of the allotted UPSC main exam centre. No request regarding the change in the exam centre will be entertained by the Commission.
The candidates need to submit the prescribed fees with the DAF-I. The DAF-I application fee is prescribed for each of the categories of candidates. The online fee submission will be available till November 11 but the ‘Pay by Cash’ mode of fee submission will be disabled on November 10.

The candidates belonging to the Female/SC/ST/PwBD categories are exempted from paying the fees. All other candidates need to pay the fee of Rs 200 for the UPSC Main exam 2020.
The candidates need to carry the same identity proof which was submitted along with the Civil Services Prelims application form 2020. Along with the identity proof, the e-admit card issued for the UPSC main exam will be required to get admission to the exam centre.

The candidates need to appear in the same language paper as mentioned in the UPSC main exam DAF-I. If the candidates do not appear in the language paper as mentioned in the DAF-I, his other papers will not be evaluated. Along with the instructions, various formats of the certificates are also provided for the candidates. The candidates can take the printout of the formats and complete it as per their category.
