UPSC IAS Notification 2026 Postpones due to Administrative Reasons

Commission has released an update regarding UPSC IAS Notification 2026 stating that it is postponed due to administrative reasons. Read below for more information.

Union Public Service Commission was all set to release UPSC IAS Notification 2026 today no January 14, 2026. However, now the notification has been postponed due to administrative reasons. 
According to official update, the 2026 UPSC IAS Notification for Civil Services Examination and Indian Forest Service Examination has been postponed and now it will be notified later.

UPSC IAS Notification 2026: More Details

After UPSC IAS 2026 notification will be out, the UPSC IAS application form 2026 will also be activated. Candidates are expected to keep checking official website - upsconline.nic.in. The last date to fill application is February 3, 2026.
The notification will be a PDF document comprising all important information related to exam including total number of vacancies, eligibility, syllabus and pattern. For making any changes in notification this year, Commission need to take approval of Ministry of Personnel.

How to Fill IAS Form 2026

See below how to fill out application form:

• Most of the details in UPSC IAS application are auto filled .
• The application fee can be paid online through SBI Net Banking/ debit card/ credit card or offline by cash through SBI bank challan mode.
• Candidates must upload scanned images of photograph, signature, and photo ID card.
• They should enter the information including Selection of examination centre and Application fee payment details except for fee-exempted candidates.
• Candidates should read the instruction carefully and click on 'I Agree' button after reading declaration.
• A page with registration number will be generated and will be displayed on screen
• Candidates must note down registration number or take a printout of page.
