UPSC IES Application Form 2022: List of rejected applicants released
UPSC has released the list of applicants whose IES application forms have been rejected due to non-payment of application fees. Read below for more details.
IES 2022 prelims exam will consist of two objective-type question papers. The total marks allotted to the exam are 500. Paper I is for 200 marks while Paper II is for 300 marks. Candidates who qualify the prelims exam are eligible to appear for the mains exam. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for determining the final order of merit. Candidates six to seven times the number of vacancies will be admitted for mains exam.
UPSC conducts the IES exam every year to recruit candidates for various specialised positions in various central government departments. IES exam is conducted for four branches of engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering.
