The IES Cutoff 2020 was released by UPSC on April 12. The final result of the Engineering Services Exam 2020 was released on April 12. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) always released the Cutoff after the completion of the exam process. The release of the cut-off and reserve list marks the end of the exam process. The cut off is released after the exam process to avoid frivolous litigation against the exam process.

How to check the IES cut off 2020?

The candidates can check the Engineering Services Cut off 2020 in the manner given below.

  • Visit the official website of UPSC-upsc.gov.in
  • Click on the examination tab given at the top navigation bar, a drop-down list will appear
  • Click on the Cut off marks in the drop list, a table of the year will open
  • Click on the Engineering Service 2020 Cut-off marks file
  • The IES cut off 2020 will open on the screen
  • Check the category-wise IES cut off 2020 for each engineering branch.

The UPSC also released the reserve list numbers along with the IES cutoff. The UPSC did not release the details about the IES reserve list 2020. The reserve list candidates can be recommended under the IES exam 2020 in case the concerned ministry asks for additional candidates.

The IES 2021 notification was released recently and the candidates can analyse the previous year's paper, vacancies and the cutoff to get the real picture of competition in the Engineering Service Exam. The last date to fill the IES 2021 application was April 7 and the last date to apply for the IES 2021 exam is April 27. The IES 2021 Prelims exam will be conducted on July 18 across the designated exam centres across the nation.
