UPSC released the marks of CAPF 2018 recommended candidates (reserve list). Read below for details

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the marks of the Combined Armed Police Forces (CAPF) 2018 candidates recommended under the reserve list. The UPSC had recommended fifty reserve list candidates for the services on May 8, 2020. The UPSC had issued an official notice regarding the recommendations.

Now, the last candidate recommended for the UPSC CAPF exam 2018 has 254 marks out of 600. With the addition of 50 more candidates, the total intake for the UPSC CAPF exam 2018 stands at 466 candidates. The UPSC has released the marks of the candidates is the standard format mentioning their name, date of birth, community, written total, personality test marks and the total marks.

The UPSC CAPF 2020 notification was deferred because of the coronavirus pandemic across the country. Now, the notification will be released on August 18 and the UPSC CAPF 2020 exam will be conducted on December 5. Earlier, the exam notification was scheduled to be released on June 5.

The UPSC CAPF exam is a three-stage exam which includes the medical and physical standard test. The first stage is the written examination comprising two papers. Two subject papers are as follows.

The second phase is the Physical Standard/Efficiency Test and Medical conducted by the CRPF at the designated centres across India. The candidates need to qualify in the medical/physical standard test to get selected in the UPSC CAPF Exam. Qualifying in this Physical and Medical test is essential for the candidate to get a call for the UPSC CAPF personality test (interview).

The UPSC CAPF 2020 exam will be conducted on December 5 as per the revised schedule of exam. The candidates need to prepare for the UPSC CAPF written exam rigorously.
