Schools closed in Udaipur Rajasthan until January 18

As per the notice, The physical classes for students up to Class 8 across all schools in will remain suspended between January 16 and January 18, 2023.

Rajasthan Schools Shut: The Udaipur administration, Rajasthan has released official orders directing all schools to remain closed until January 18. The decision is taken in view of the cold wave situation. As per the notice, The physical classes for students up to Class 8 across all schools in will remain suspended between January 16 and January 18, 2023. The order will be applicable with immediate effect on all government private and CBSE-affiliated schools of the Udaipur district.

However, the timings of the school staff will be according to the schedule for the academic year. Along with this, the schedule of all the examinations will also remain the same and the timings of all private schools from January 19, 2023, to January 23, 2023, will be from 9 am to 3 pm.

The private schools across the district will function from 9 am to 3 pm between January 19 and January 22, 2023. Stating the order in a letter, Prabha Gautam, Additional District Collector (City), Udaipur said that due to the continuous drop in temperatures in the upcoming days, the outbreak of the century, as well as the possibility of a cold wave, a holiday has been declared in all government/non-government schools in Udaipur district until January 18, 2023.
