Ashoka University Collaborates with ICTS TIFR for Meeting and Workshop Office; Details Inside

The collaboration between Ashoka University and ICTS TIFR DAW will offer a platform for hosting top-tier scientific conferences and workshops where scientists and researchers across the globe will be able to submit selected proposals to host high-impact academic events. 

Ashoka University has collaborated with the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, DAE, for its Meetings and Workshops Office. The collaboration will offer interdisciplinary collaboration and academic excellence. The collaboration between the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, DAE and Ashoka University will offer a platform for hosting top-tier scientific conferences and workshops through an open call and proposal system. 

Scientists and researchers from around the world will be able to apply with selected ideas, obtaining funding and resources to hold high-impact academic events.

The Ashoka University Vice Chancellor, Professor Somak Raychaudhury, shared his delight about the programme, saying, “Through this partnership with ICTS, Ashoka University is building a global platform for rigorous scientific dialogue and discovery. The Meetings and Workshops collaboration with ICTS will not only strengthen our research ecosystem but also encourage the kind of cross-disciplinary collaboration essential to tackling today’s most complex problems.” 

Ashoka University's Meetings and Workshops Office is intended as a transformative place where scholars, students, and intellectuals can push boundaries, participate in knowledge creation, and mentor the next younger thinkers. The Meetings and Workshops Office will further develop the university's open and inviting legacy by promoting variety, mentorship, and active participation, as well as making important contributions to addressing complex global issues.
