Today is the second day of Common University Entrance Test. National Testing Agency will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam till May 31, 2026, in Computer Based Test mode. The exam is being conducted across 306 exam centres in India and 14 international cities across 13 countries, in two shifts. According to NTA, CUET 2026 will be conducted in 35 shifts in 21 days.

Candidates appearing for the examination, who have not yet downloaded their admit card must do so now and get a print out of the same to enter the examination hall. Candidates must reach the exam centre before gate closing time, as no entry will be allowed once the exam centre gates close. As per Day 1 exam analysis, the overall difficulty level of question paper for UG subjects conducted is moderate.

CUET UG 2026 Exam: Must-Carry Items

To enter the examination centre, candidates have to bring some important documents. Check below to get the list:

  • CUET UG 2026 Admit Card
  • Self-declaration form
  • 2 Passport size photographs (same as uploaded in online form)
  • Original valid ID proof (same one uploaded in online form)
  • PwD/PwBD certificate (if claiming relaxation)
  • Transparent ballpoint pen

CUET Exam Pattern 2026

Common University Entrance Test is being conducted for 13 languages, 23 domain subjects and general aptitude test, in CBT mode. Check below to know the exam pattern for CUET:

  • Exam Duration: 60 minutes per subject
  • Number of Questions: 50 questions per subject
  • Total Marks: 250 per subject
  • Marking Scheme: +5 for correct answer; -1 for incorrect answer & 0 for unattempted questions

    Q:   How can I check my CUET exam centre?
    A: 

    Candidates can check the CUET 2026 allotted exam centre upon release of CUET intimation slip and CUET admit card. Only candidates who will fill the CUET application form along with the successful application fee payment will be able to download the intimation slip for CUET exam. The name of exam centre will be mentioned on the intimation alip in advance to help candidates make preparations accordingly. The CUET 2026 admit card is expected to release three to four days prior to the day of examination in online mode. Candidates will be able to check the following details on the release of CUET 2026 admit card:
