Banaras Hindu University
The National Testing Agency has released the CUET 2026 result at cuet.nta.nic.in. The NTA also released the CUET 2026 scorecard under the candidate's login. The scorecard will officially notify the result and status of the candidates. It also mentioned the subject-wise NTA scores and the percentile for each paper code. The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is yet to start the UG admission process. The candidates seeking admission in BHU will be required to fill the Counselling registration form and the BHU will shortlist the candidates based on their CUET Score and other criteria defined in its information bulletin.
CUET BHU cutoff 2026 will be released tentatively in the second week of August 2026 at bhucuet.samarth.edu.in. Banaras Hindu University will release the CUET UG 2026 cutoff and seat allotment details for the registered candidates only. National Testing Agency does not release CUET UG cutoff. To check the university wise cutoff, candidates must visit the official portal of desired universities and check the cutoff details. Accepting colleges release the CUET cutoff soon after declaration of CUET UG results by NTA.
The CUET UG cut off is determined by CUET participating universities seperately. Parameters on the basis of which CUET UG cut off is released are:
- Total number of candidates that appeared for the CUET UG exam
- The number of seats offered by the participating universities through CUET UG
- The difficulty level of the CUET exam
- Overall performance of the test takers (pass percentage/ score range, etc.)
CUET cut off is based on the percentile of the candidate. To calculate the CUET percentile following formula is applied:
100*Number of candidates appeared in the session with a raw score is equal to or less than a candidate/ total number of candidates appeared for CUET UG.

Commonly asked questions
CUET UG scores are the accepted by central, state, private, deemed and government institutions. Refer below to know the number of universities accepting CUET UG scores in each category:
Central Universities: 46
State Universities: 41
Deemed Universities: 30
Private Universities: 160
Government Institutions: 10
Students can access the CUET UG cut off list only after the cut offs are released by the CUET UG participating universities. The following steps should be followed to access the CUET cut off list of universities candidate is desirous to take admission in.
- Visit the official website of the applied and participating institutes
- On the homepage, click on the link to the current academic session CUET Cut Off
- A new login page will open on screen. Enter the credentials and submit
- Now, you can access the CUET UG cut off list when released
The above steps will be applicable only if instittues release the CUET UG cut offs. Otherwise, if the institutes release merit lists carrying their scores, then the minimum score would be considered as the CUET UG cut off. Universities like Delhi University does not released CUET cut off. Candidates will know the college/course allocated on the basis of the preferences filled by the candidate while filling the application form.
Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score 2026 will be accepted by more than 205 universities (central, state, private and deemed) across India. On the basis of the CUET UG score, candidates are offered admission to UG programme of the participating colleges. Candidates applying for admission to UG programme must ensure to check the course eligibility criteria before filling the application form.

CUET BHU Admission 2026
Banaras Hindu University admission 2026 will commence based on the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) scores. The list for BHU first admission list will be released in third week of August 2026. CUET BHU admission 2026 registrations will commence soon after the declaration of CUET UG 2026 results.
