DU Admission 2026: Delhi University Warns Students Against AI-Generated Documents; Check Details

Delhi University has warned students against uploading AI-generated, digitally altered or manipulated documents during the DU CSAS admission process. DU will reject applications of candidates submitting fraudulent or edited documents. 

University of Delhi (DU) has issued an advisory for candidates participating in the ongoing DU UG and PG Admission 2026 process. The university has warned applicants against submitting AI-generated or manipulated documents during the DU registration 2026 process. The university stated that it has observed cases where applicants have uploaded modified documents while applying for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

DU has warned candidates to submit only correct scanned copies of their original certificates, mark sheets and identity proofs. The university has also warned that candidates found submitting fake documents may face rejection of their application and may face legal action against them.

DU Admission 2026: Delhi University Issues Warning 

The university has instructed applicants to ensure that uploaded documents:

• Are scanned copies of original certificates and documents.
• Do not contain any digital alteration.
• Match the original documents.

DU said that verification tools will be used to check incorrect documents and check the authenticity of submitted documents. Candidate Registration May Be Rejected for Fake Documents. Delhi University has clarified that candidates who fail to follow the document submission guidelines will not be eligible for the admission process. The university has also stated that action can be taken at any stage of the admission process if document fraud is detected.
