Delhi University has started admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The university has received 41,473 undergraduate applications on the very first day of DU Admission 2026 under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). The DU UG admission 2026 registration process is currently ongoing for admission to undergraduate programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. This year, DU is offering around 71,600 undergraduate seats across 73 programmes.
Admissions to undergraduate courses are based on candidates' Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026 scores along with their programme and college preferences. Meanwhile, 9,675 candidates have confirmed their admissions to various postgraduate programmes after two rounds of counselling. Delhi University has advised candidates to regularly check the CSAS portal and complete all admission formalities before the deadline.
