The ICAR All India Competitive Examination (AICE) for admission to PhD courses through SRF/JRF scholarships is to be conducted today i.e. September 23, 2020. The ICAR AICE JRF/SRF for Postgraduate (PG) courses, is also scheduled to be conducted today. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the ICAR AICE and ICAR AIEEA on behalf of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The NTA has decided to conduct many national-level entrance exams amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, however, officials at the centre have ensured that the entire building will be sanitized and all necessary essentials will be provided.

The exam will be conducted in online mode i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT) and the duration of the entrance exam is two hours. The format of ICAR AICE will be in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

The ICAR AICE (PhD) admit card was released online on September 10, 2020. Candidates have to carry their ICAR AICE admit card and also carry the self-declaration form which was attached with the admit card. The candidate had to fill the required details on the self-declaration form and carry it to the exam centre along with an official government ID and a passport-sized photograph.

Along with the items to be carried to the exam centre, candidates are required to also bring their own masks and hand sanitizers. Aspirants will be scanned through a thermometer gun and will be frisked through a non-touch handle before being allowed to enter in the premises. Hand sanitizers and masks will be provided by the officials and candidates have to strictly follow the social distancing norms.
