The IISER Entrance Exam is set to be conducted today, i.e. September 18, 2020, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM across 100 plus cities in the nation. The IISER Entrance Exam will be conducted in online mode i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT) and the examination format will be in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The duration of the IISER Entrance Exam is 3 hours and the exam medium is in English. Candidates were to report to the IISER Entrance Exam centre latest by 8:20 AM as the gates closed by 8:30 Am sharp.
Candidates were advised to carry their IISER Entrance Exam admit card, any one of their official government authorized IDs and the IISER travel letter (optional) to the exam centre. Through IISER Entrance Exam, candidates are offered admission to BS-MS Dual Degree courses offered at the institutes.

Exam Timings
Candidates were advised to reach the exam centre well on time so that entry would be a smooth process as aspirants appearing for the entrance exam as their temperature will be checked, frisked through a non-touch security handle. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the officials ensured that all safety measures will be followed and facilities such as masks and hand sanitizers will be provided.

Students were also provided with an IISER Travel Letter if they had faced any difficulty in travelling to the exam centre. The letter was approved and authorized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to ensure that students face no problems in appearing for the national-level examination.
The IISER Entrance Exam answer key will be released online on September 19, 2020, and candidates can cross-check the answers they entered on the answer script. The response sheet and representation will commence from 9:00 AM onwards on September 21, 2020, and the session will commence on September 23, 2020. If there is any change to the answer keys, the revised list will be released online on September 26, 2020. A date has to be fixed for the declaration of results.
