Jamia Millia Islamia Team Wins National Case Study Competition; Check Details

JMI students Ansab Amir Khan and Sheikh Humza won the Mappls MapMyIndia Business Case Study Hackathon with a cash prize of INR 50,000 along with an internship and PPO offer from MapMyIndia. 

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) students comprising Ansab Amir Khan, from the Department of Management, and Sheikh Humza, from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, secured victory in the Mappls MapMyIndia Business Case Study Hackathon. The duo cleared two rounds for Mappls MapMyIndia online, where 550 case submissions from teams across the country were received. JMI competed in finals against BITS Pilani campus with other 20 selected teams. 

This competition was conducted by Mappls MapMyIndia as a part of their marketing strategy for B2C apps and gadgets. JMI students, with their quirky advertisement videos and quick business solutions, impressed the judges and got the winning title in their name. Rohan Verma (CEO of MapMyIndia) along with senior marketing strategists were on the judging panel and appreciated the JMI team for their extraordinary marketing campaign. 

JMI Triumphs in 37th National Youth Fest Quiz Competition 

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) triumphs in the Association of Indian Universities' 37th National Youth Fest Quiz Competition. The team is comprised of Ram Sonwane from B.A. Programme, Mohammad Faheem TP from MA Conflict Analysis and Peace Building and Favas K from the Department of Economics who represented the North-West zone and bagged the second prize. 

The National Youth Fest Quiz Competition was held at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in Ludhiana from March 27 to April 01 where the quiz continued for two days. The grand finale was held on March 31, where after four intense rounds, JMI students secured the second position.
