Candidates who have been allotted seats in this round are required to complete the admission process by today, July 18, which is the last date for seat confirmation under the third list.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has released the third merit list for admission to its postgraduate programmes for the academic year 2025-26. Candidates who have been allotted seats in this round are required to complete the admission process by today, July 18, which is the last date for seat confirmation under the third list.

Applicants can access the merit list and confirm their admission status through the official website of the university — jnuee.jnu.ac.in or jnu.ac.in. To secure their admission, selected candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee and upload the required documents within the stipulated time.

The admission process at JNU for postgraduate courses, including MA, MSc, MCA and other PG programmes, is being conducted through the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2025. The university had previously released the first and second merit lists on July 1 and July 10, respectively. With the third list now out, candidates who were earlier waitlisted have another opportunity to gain admission.

As per the official schedule, physical verification of documents and registration for candidates selected in the third round will be held from July 22 to July 30, 2025, at the respective centres in JNU. Candidates must ensure all original documents are in order for verification, failing which their candidature may be cancelled.

JNU may issue further merit lists depending on the availability of vacant seats after the third round. Therefore, applicants who have not yet been allotted a seat are advised to keep monitoring the admission portal regularly.

The university has also urged students to adhere strictly to deadlines and avoid last-minute submissions, as no extensions will be granted beyond July 18 for this round.

JNU remains one of India’s premier universities, and the CUET PG-based admission process aims to bring more transparency and efficiency in student selection.
