One of the best universities of India, really appreciable.
Placements: There is no definite placement cell, but companies do visit here to hire freshers. Even if you don't get a job through campus placement, you will get a job easily through off-campus placement. Wherever you go, you will obviously find some of our alumni.
Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure, yes, you will not get buildings and classrooms like those in high-feel private colleges, but the whole campus is covered with Wi-Fi. The food quality depends upon the hostel and mess secretary, but overall food quality is very good.
Faculty: When it comes to faculty members, you don't need to worry. You will be taught by some of the best faculty members in India. They are highly qualified and dedicated to teaching you by any means. The course curriculum is a little old but good. JNU doesn't prepare you for industries, but they shape you into a better version. You need to maintain a CGPA of 4 out of 9 to pass.

Jawahar Lal Nehru University.
Placements: There is no placement cell in college, but companies are visiting and are giving high packages. Many students last year received the package of 15 LPA from Accenture in interpretation. The languages that are good for placement are German, Japanese, and Korean. Don't use this language if you are not interested and came here only to enjoy college life.
Infrastructure: The curriculum of the course is very rigorous, and there are very good hostel and mess facilities. The rooms are not that good, but the mess facilities here are satisfying. There are badminton courts behind the hostel, and hostel nights are organised here. There is a special dinner at the end of the month..
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, and you will get very good exposure here from the university. The curriculum is very strict; there will be 4 exams in every semester, 3 sessions, and 1 end semester. And you have to score 4 CGPA at the end of the year if you want to stay in university.
Other: There are DJ nights, and events are happening every now and then.

Review of Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Placements: The placement cell of Jawaharlal Nehru University is not good enough. Students are not getting a chance to campus selection since covid-19. Less than 30% of students got placed in our university. You can apply to MNCs like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Google, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Jawaharlal Nehru University is good. All classrooms, libraries, and labs have Wi-Fi. Our university provides a hostel with good facilities. The quality of food and water is also good enough. Many badminton courts, basketball courts, and a stadium are available at our university. A health center is also available at our university
Faculty: There are around 5-6 professors in the center for Japanese studies. They are a little bit helpful and supportive. They are well-educated and experienced. This course curriculum is relevant. There are three sessional tests and the final semester exam. You have to pass at least two sessional tests to appear for the final semester exam. The pass percentage is more than a 4 CGPA.
Other: I opted for this university because I want to learn a foreign language and work as an interpreter in an MNC, so I started exploring the best college for foreign languages and got to know about Jawaharlal Nehru University. I can improve my communication skills and all by this course. You will get to know about foreign cultures and traditions by participating in fests, events, and other curricular activities.

Hostel facilities are bad .
Placements: We have jnu placement cell but not for the foreign language courses like japanese, chinese, korean, german, arabic, persian, russian, spanish french, pashto. After completing our graduation we can apply for different companies having an additional degree of specified language like in japanese JLPT exam in chinese HSK.
Infrastructure: There are average facility of hostel infrastructure but currently being a student of JNU mess facilities are good, food is hygienic and for medical treatment there is a JNU HEALTH CENTRE various disease for specialised doctors facilities of OPD. Wi-Fi availability is 24/7.
Faculty: Teaches are very helpful and well qualified for different courses. But studies are only limited to syllabus. Not for the various exams languages, JLPT exams are tough we all have to study by ourselves to qualify for the exam. Syllabus only helps out in your vocab reading grammar not for the passage type questions which came in the exam.

Absolutely satisfied with the college, and it has really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: There is a handy placement cell in the college. The placement rate is about 70% so far. The highest package offered by a Japanese company was 9 LPA, and the average package goes around 5 to 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon and Cognizant.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure and facilities are very good. Wi-Fi facility is available for students throughout the campus. Classrooms are well maintained. The library is operated 24*7 and is air-conditioned. The food quality is very good, with different varieties throughout the week.
Faculty: The faculty of this course are very competent. There is a top brass of faculty available, and they are always ready to help you and make your journey smooth. The course curriculum is also rigorous and relevant, which makes students industry-ready very efficiently.
Other: I chose this course because it has a good scope in the corporate world and also my curiosity to learn the Japanese language. The campus crowd over there is intellectuals and rich. The are a good number of scholarships available, like MCM etc. People also get scholarships in their respective courses and go to the foreign land for a year or two.

One of the best university of India and comes under top 100 universities of world.
Placements: There is a placement cell in JNU. Placement system has started from last 2 or 3 years ago, now many big companies come to our college like Amazon, IBM, TCS and many more. I do not about other companies but I'm working in amazon right now and they are giving very satisfying salary. 6 out of 10 student got their job by campus selection. And I'm not sure about internship.
Infrastructure: There are free Wi-Fi everywhere in campus even in hostels also, and condition of labs are very good AC and computers works very nice, library is the place where everybody goes to study, best library I've ever seen, hostel are almost free of cost and quite well the quality of good is also good in hostel mess, dinner and breakfast is always good. And there are many canteens also which provides food in cheap price and best in quality and quantity. Classroom is also good some of the class have AC and some of them are having fan. I did not face any kind of problem during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: Our professors minimum qualification is M.Phil and many of them are famous in all over the world, for example my translation teacher in 3rd year was the national interpreter of india. He is the permanent interpreter of PM Modi. His name is Professor Ashok Chawala. Teaching quality of professors are just awesome there. It is hard to describe their teaching methods because everyone use different methods, and almost all teachers use projector to teach, and takes so many presentation by students, I'm not sure about the faculty ratio but there are enough teacher to teach. Yes, I got industry exposure as well, and course curriculum was bit old but very useful.
Other: There are so many groups to conduct many cultural events as well as sports event, my favorite is event is Kallol in which both cultural and spots event happens, I enjoyed cricket a lot in that, and Japanese centre reached in finals of cricket during my last year. I think they're 8 to 10000 students in campus, and campus is full of nature, so many trees and all. Most of the student get 2000 scholarship every month, and toppers from first year get a scholarship of go and study for one year in their respective language country. There are clubs who conducts many extracurricular activities, which takes training and all to qualify them, and training is not so hard.

JNU life and it's facilities.
Placements: Never mentioned by the faculty, and not sure if the college has campus placements. After completing the course a lot of job opportunities are available. Japanese (hons) especially is a course in which huge potential is there. So, placement will not be an issue.
Infrastructure: The college has an amazing infrastructure. It has fully equipped rooms, and all the facilities are available like 24x7 reading rooms in the library, health centre services for all the students, 20+ hostels, and quality food at the mess. Rooms are not much spacious, but two people can stay in one room, and average cleanliness.
Faculty: The faculty of the college was highly qualified, experienced, and very supportive in the classroom. They provide us with the best knowledge, advice, and help us shape our future in a way we want. The offices are open until 5, so one can contact or be in touch with faculty any time.

It is the best college for foreign studies.
Placements: It is the best language college in India with the best placements. It is the 1st university in India. There are about 50 students in our course. A top company in Japan visit our college for placements. Around 90% of students get an internship. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA. Students can easily get a job after pass out from JNU.
Infrastructure: The hostel life is the best with proper hygiene. The hostel fee is Rs. 50. An advanced mess fee is Rs. 750, and the annual newspaper fee is Rs. 15. Crockery fee is Rs. 50. The hostel capacity is about 5,500. Our college provides 24x7 Wi-Fi and electricity supply in all hostels. The night cafe is up to 1 am.
Faculty: Our college conducts two semesters in one year. All the teachers are supportive and helpful. All teachers are highly knowledgeable. The duration of the semester is from September to January. The course curriculum makes the students industry-ready. JNU is ranked 8 overall in the national institutional ranking framework.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is an easy course with a degree and easy placements.

The options will vary on the percentage she will secure in class 12th. So, let her class 12th result be out, and then accordingly decide which area interests her more and get her admitted in the same.
