Mumbai University Extends Final Admission Deadline for Distance, Online Courses

Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), MU in a notification has stated that last date to apply for various UG, PG courses has been extended to October 11, 2025.

The University of Mumbai has announced an extension of final round of online admissions for its distance learning and online programmes. MU has extended the last date to October 11, 2025.

The CDOE at MU offers several undergraduate courses like Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with specializations in History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Geography, Rural Development, Marathi, Hindi, English, Psychology, and Journalism. It also admits students in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Information Technology and Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.).

Postgraduate programs offered by the centre include Master of Arts (M.A.) in subjects like History, Sociology, Economics, Political Science, Marathi, Hindi, English, Psychology, and Journalism, alongside Master of Commerce (M.Com.), Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics and Information Technology, and Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.).

The centre also offers management courses such as Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Admission to these courses is based on an entrance test.

As per the varsity notification admissions is completely online, which began on June 14, 2025. The CDOE has study centers in Churchgate, Thane, Kalyan, Ratnagiri, and Sawantwadi, with a new center in Palghar set to open soon.

The university has also provided a QR code and a dedicated website (https://cdoe.mu.ac.in) for easy application, alongside contact details for further assistance.
