NEST 2021 Application Process Extended Till May 20

NEST 2021 Application Deadline Extended Till May 20

The last date of submitting the NEST 2021 online application form has been extended to May 20. While the original application deadline for NEST 2021 was April 30, it was extended till May 10, and it has now been further extended to May 20. Candidates who are yet to complete the NEST 2021 application process may do so within the said date. The exam conducting authorities, the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, and the University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM–DAE CEBS), Mumbai have also postponed the date of releasing NEST 2021 admit card to June 4 from May 20. Who Can Fill NEST 2021 Application Form

The eligibility criteria of appearing in the NEST 2021 are as follows:

• Candidates should pass Class 12 in Science stream from a recognised Board with minimum 60 per cent aggregate (55 per cent for reserved category candidates)

• Candidates should have studied at least three subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics

• Candidates awaiting their Board exam result are also eligible to apply

How to Apply for NEST 2021

Candidates should follow the below steps to complete the application process of NEST 2021.

• Visit the official website of NEST 2021

• Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button

• Register by entering the mandatory personal and contact details to generate the login credentials

• Click on the verification link that is sent to candidates’ email id

• Login through the registration credentials and fill up the application form

• Fill up the application form with mandatory details

• Upload important documents and files such as Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, photograph and signature of not exceeding 80 KB file size

• Pay the application fee of Rs 1,200 (Rs 600 for reserved category candidates) through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking modes

Upon successful completion of the NEST 2021 application process, candidates will receive application confirmation through SMS and email. Successful applicants will be able to download the NEST 2021 admit card from June 4 onwards.
