Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (Delhi-NCR) has started applications for PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in Engineering for the Spring 2026 batch. The New Batch Classes will commence from January 12, 2026. The last date to apply for the PhD in Engineering Spring Batch is November 30, 2025. The Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (Delhi-NCR) is offering a PhD Program in these departments:
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Science Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
The university says the program gives world-class education, modern research facilities, and good financial support. The admission process has three stages: Written Test, Technical Interview, and Final Interview

Eligibility Criteria For PhD Engineering Programme
Final-year BTech students can apply if they have CGPA 7.5 or 75% marks. Students with MTech, ME, or MSc can apply if they have a first division – 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA. can also apply. Those candiates who have CSIR-JRF, UGC-NET, or GATE score do not need to take the written test.
Financial Support offered by Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence: Candidates who will get admission to the PhD programme will receive a grant of Rs 45,000 for the first two years and Rs 50,000 for the next three years.
PhD Student will also get extra benefits which include ₹60,000 per year for research expenses, ₹100000 for conference (travel Allowance), ₹80,000 one-time laptop grant and ₹1,50,000 research grant for 5 years as an accommodation scholarship.
SNU Noida admissions are either entrance or merit-based. Candidates have to qualify the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any of the courses. For UG courses, candidates must pass Class 12 and have appeared for SAT or JEE Main in case of UG courses. SNU Noida admission to PG courses like MBA, MSc, etc. is based on entrance exams like NMAT, GMAT, XAT, university admission test, etc. for specific courses. Along with entrance-exam, aspirants must also complete graduation to apply for PG courses.

SNU Noida offers exemption from aptitude for candidates with 60% and above applying for Online MBA. Such candidates have to come directly for the screening call. For all others candidates, admission is through basic process. Below are the steps to get admission in SNU Noida Online MBA:
Application process: Candidates need to apply online on the official website of SNU Noida for Online MBA.
Selection rounds: Candidates with 60% aggregate and above are directly called for screening call. Aspirants with less than 60% aggregate are required to appear for an aptitude test followed by screening call. GMAT score is accepted.
Admission confirmation: After the completion of the selection rounds, aspirants will recieve a provisional letter for admission. Aspirants need to confirm their seat by paying the admission fee.
