IGNOU BEd Admission 2022: Indira Gandhi National Open Univerity (IGNOU) is now inviting applications for the BEd entrance examination for January session 2022. The application can be submitted by the students interested in pursuing BEd from IGNOU from March 23 to April 17.

IGNOU BEd Admissions: General instructions to fill the form

• Please ensure that you are fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the Programme
• Registration fee for the Entrance Test is INR 1000/-.
• Fee once paid is not refundable
• Permission for appearing in the Entrance Test is provisional, in the event of any information being found incorrect or misleading the candidature is liable for cancellation by the University at any time

IGNOU BEd Entrance Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria

IGNOU BEd Entrance Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria must be satisfied for candidates to apply for the exam. Aspirants can check the eligibility criteria for IGNOU BEd entrance admission in detail below:

• At least 50 per cent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity
• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55 per cent marks or any other qualification equivalent
• Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.

OR

• Candidates who have completed an NCTE recognized teacher education program in direct mode.
• The relaxation of 5 per cent in minimum qualifying marks required will be provided to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwD candidates as per the norms of the Government of India.
• Reservation for Kashmiri Migrants and War Widow candidates will be provided as per the University Rules.
• A Master's Degree awarded without a first degree is not accepted for the purpose of Academic Studies in IGNOU.
