IGNOU extends application deadline for PhD, BSc Nursing, and B.Ed. to Jan 3

Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the application deadline for filling online application forms for PhD, BSc Nursing, and B.Ed. courses to January 3, 2024.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has issued a notification stating that the last date for application submission for the courses PhD (for July 2023 Session), B.Sc.Nursing and B.Ed. (For January 2024 session) has been extended to January 3, 2024, upto 5 pm with a late fee of INR 200.

Earlier, the application deadline was December 31, 2023. Those who are eligible and interested to apply for the courses can do so by visiting the official website - www.ignou.in.

The official notification reads, "The last date for submission of online application form for Ph.D (for July 2023 Session), B.Sc. Nursing and B.Ed. (for January, 2024 Session) has been extended till January 3, 2024, up to 5:00 pm with a late fee of INR 200."

IGNOU: UGC Approved 6-day Short Term Programme

IGNOU notified that UGC has approved 6-day Short Term Programme: "Design & Development of e-Content for Online Learning and MOOCs" for Teachers, Educators and other Academics of Higher Educational Institutions through Online Mode from January 29 to February 3, 2024. Interested candidates need to pay a non-refundable amount of INR 8000.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to describe instructional design principles and models in structuring e- content that optimises learner engagement and knowledge retention in MOOCs, leverage popular software tools for Text/Video/Audio to create interactive elements, multimedia presentations, quizzes, and animations, enriching the learning experience, collaboratively design and develop econtent modules that can address diverse learning needs and objectives, explore cutting-edge online learning trends & techniques and content development strategies.
