NERIE NCERT Released the Counselling Schedule for BEd. Candidates can download the provisional selected on the official Regional Institute of Education, NERIE, website. Find all the details on Shiksha.com and https://nerie.nic.in/

NERIE NCERT Counselling

The provisional list for selected students has been released by NERIE NCERT, Shillong, for BEd program on the official website. The counselling will be conducted on September 24 at NERIE NCERT. Waiting List of the candidates will be uploaded on the NERIE Website on 24/9/2025, in case seats are left vacant in the first counselling.

The Provisionally Selected Candidates are instructed to report to the Institute on 24th September 2025 (Wednesday) at 09.00 am (for NE candidates except Assam), and at 12:00 PM (for Assam candidates), with all original documents/testimonials along with one set of Xerox copies of all the documents for getting admission to the BEd Programme.

Documents Required for NERIE NCERT, Shillong, Counselling

  • Original School/College/Department Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate.
  • Original Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied.
  • Original Marksheets, High School onwards.
  • Original Certificate/Diplomas/Degrees, High School onwards (Provisional Certificate must be produced in case original is not available).
  • An Affidavit from the Hon'ble Court/Notary Public that the documents, certificates, marksheets etc. submitted by you are genuine and you will not involve in any kind of ragging in the Institute.
  • Medical Fitness Certificate from a Government Medical Practitioner not below the rank of the Assistant Surgeon.
  • Original Caste Certificate from the Authorities empowered to issue such a certificate (i.e. Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner or any other Revenue Officer not below the rank of TAHASILDAR in case of SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates. Certificate issued by any other person is not acceptable. Candidate claiming reservation under OBC category should produce certificate clearly mentioning other backward class/caste(OBC) and not belonging to creamy layer.
  • Residential/nativity certificate from the Competent Authority not below the rank of Tahasildar for the candidate coming from the outside region.
  • Original certificate for Physically Handicapped candidate issued by the Competent Authority not below the rank of Chief District Medical Officer is acceptable.
  • Income Certificate of parent from the Competent Authority not below the rank of Tahasildar for the F/Y 2025-2026.
  • Migration Certificate (if any), students coming from Universities other than NEHU, Shillong should produce the Migration Certificate within one month from the date of their admission. Relieving order in case the candidate is employed.
  • Three recent passport size photograph of student and two passport size of parent for the hostellers.
  • One set of photo copies of marksheets/certificates from High School onwards including Caste/Category Certificate.
  • Printout Rank list (CEE 2025 result card).
  • Filled in information sheet/form for the concerned course available in the Institute Website.
Q: Β  What if I miss my counselling date?
A:

It is not advised for any candidate to miss the counselling date. It can result in losing the seat as well as the admission. You can confirm with the respective RIE if you can attend the next round of counselling or any other available solution.
