UP schools closed in Mainpuri district until Jan 14 for winter vacations

According to the orders released by the Mainpuri Basic Education Department, schools in Mainpuri are closed from today until Class 8th. All schools are instructed to follow the orders strictly.

UP Schools Closed! Schools in Uttar Pradesh’s various districts have announced closure owing to the winter vacations. On December 30, UP's Mainpuri district issued a notice announcing winter break from December 31 to January 14. According to the orders released by the Mainpuri Basic Education Department, schools in Mainpuri are closed from today until Class 8th. All schools are instructed to follow the orders strictly.

"Uttar Pradesh | Mainpuri Basic Education Department has declared holiday in schools till class 8 from December 31, 2022 to January 14, 2023,” An official tweet by ANI stated.

Schools in various regions of Uttar Pradesh and other states are being closed due to the cold wave. Stated that have not announced winter break yet have changed school timings amid severely cold waves. Many Schools are also not being shut for students of Class 10 and 12 due to the board exams in most of the regions.

Prior to this, UP schools in Noida, Meerut and others were also announced to remain shut until January 1, 2023. Students and parents are advised to contact the school administration for the latest updates.

Meanwhile, Haryana School Winter Vacation have also been announced and the schools will remain closed from January 1 to 15, 2023.
