Yes, it's actually a good idea to give multiple MBA entrance exams if you can manage it. Each exam opens up different sets of colleges, so your chances increase instead of depending on just one score.CAT is obviously the toughest, but exams like CMAT, XAT and MAT also give you options in decent B-schools if one paper doesn't go well. The syllabus overlaps a lot, so preparing for one usually helps with the others too.Just make sure you don't over-stress and pick the exams that match your target colleges and your strength level.

No, NMAT is not compulsory for admission to the MBA/PGPM programme at Athena School of Management (Mumbai).

Athena follows a profile-based admission process, which means your overall profile — academics, communication skills, achievements, and interview performance — carries more weight than just test scores.

You can apply with scores from NMAT, CAT, XAT, GMAT, or GRE, but if you haven't taken any of these, you can appear for ASAT (Athena Scholastic Aptitude Test), which is the institute's own entrance exam.

This gives flexibility to students who don't have NMAT or CAT scores but still want to pursue a management degree.

About 160+ NMAT colleges accepting MBA students in India. Out of these colleges, 130 colleges are privately owned, 2 colleges are owned by government colleges and 2 colleges are privately owned. NMAT is the most accepting MBA colleges in India. Some of the top colleges include NMIMS SBM, Amity University Noida, K J Somaiya College, and many others.

GMAC releases the NMAT admit card 7 days before the exam date. Candidates can find the NMAT admit card download link inside the login dashboard available on the official website. The admit card for NMAT exam is downloadable until the exam date.

The NMAT logical reasoning syllabus covers a mix of analytical and critical thinking topics. Candidates must prepare for the following topics:

  • Arrangement
  • Multi-dimensional arrangements
