SSC CHSL UFM 2018: 4560 disqualified candidates given exemption; revised tier-II result to be out soon
SSC CHSL 2018 candidates who were disqualified from tier-II exam due to SSC UFM rule have been given one-time exemption. Revised SSC CHSL result 2018-19 for tier-II will be out soon.
As a major relief for SSC CHSL 2018 aspirants, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has decided to give one-time exemption to all the 4,560 candidates who were declared disqualified on the grounds of Unfair Means (UFM). The revised SSC CHSL 2018 result for all the 4,560 candidates will be processed accordingly and declared soon.
After the SSC CHSL 2018 result for tier-II was announced on February 25, 2020, 30,822 candidates qualified and shortlisted to appear for tier-III exam. Among the unsuccessful candidates, 4,560 candidates were disqualified from the exam on the grounds of SSC UFM rule. Thereafter, many candidates protested against the commission’s decision on various social media platforms. The commission hence, formed a committee of experts to examine the matter.

Currently, on the committee’s recommendation, the Staff Selection Commission has a given a one-time exemption to all the disqualified SSC CHSL tier-II candidates. The official notification released by SSC regarding the same reads, “The Commission has decided to give one-time exemption to all 4,560 candidates of Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination (Tier-2) 2018 who were disqualified. The results of these candidates will be processed accordingly.”
While the issue UFM issue for SSC CHSL 2018 aspirants has been resolved, the commission is expected to release SSC CHSL tier-III 2018 exam date soon.
