UPSC CAPF 2020 notification and exam dates announced. Read below details.

UPSC new exam calendar 2020-21 was released by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on June 5, 2020. The UPSC has issued new exam and notification dates for 2020. The UPSC CAPF 2020 exam notification will be released on August 18 and the UPSC CAPF 2020 exam will be conducted on December 20.    .

The UPSC Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) 2020 notification was scheduled to be released on April 22, but the notification was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic and the consequent series of lockdowns.

The UPSC CAPF is a nation-wide exam conducted across the nation to recruit the Assistant Commandant for the Central Armed Police Forces. The Central Police Armed forces include the following forces

  • Border Security Force (BSF)
  • Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
  • Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
  • Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
  • Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)

The UPSC CAPF written exam is an offline exam conducted across India on the same day. The CAPF written exam comprises two question papers. One paper is objective and the other paper is descriptive. The details of the CAPF written exam is given below.

After the written exam, the candidates need to qualify in the Physical and Medical Standard Test. Qualifying in the Medical and Physical Standard test is mandatory. The candidates need to appear in the personality test. After the personality test, the UPSC CAPF result is declared.
