About St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad
St. Xavier’s College was established in 1955 and is currently an autonomous institute affiliated with Gujarat University. The college offers admissions into various undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses of Arts, Science, Commerce and Computer Sciences. St. Xavier’s College has been reaccredited with an ‘A’ Grade by NAAC and is often considered one of the top institutes to pursue an education in the Science stream.
Eligibility Criteria for BSc Biotechnology in St. Xavier’s College
To be considered for admissions into the BSc Biotechnology programme offered by St. Xavier’s College, the students will have to meet certain eligibility criteria that have been predetermined by the authorities. Ineligible students will not be considered for admissions.
- Students should have passed the 10+2th qualifying examination with at least 60% marks conducted by the Government of Gujarat or an equivalent examination acceptable by the Executive Council, MHRD India.
- Should have studied Biology, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects in the 10+2th qualifying examination.
- Students from boards other than Gujarat boards and CBSE schools of Gujarat will have to present a provisional eligibility certification from Gujarat University.
