Founded in 2002, the Manipal School of Life Sciences is a component of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education. UGC acknowledges the college. The 2020 vision designates the School of Life Sciences Manipal as the TIFAC-CORE in the field of pharmacogenomics. Agencies under the Government of India, including ICMR, BRNS, DBT, DST, and VGST, support it. The college provides UG, PG, certificate, and short-term courses in Biotechnology, Engineering, and various other streams to students through eight departments.
