DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai placements are good. As per the official data, more than 600 students participate for placements every semester. The university provides 100% placement assistance to students. In recent past, the highest package offered to Engineering students in recent past was INR 43.15 LPA.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University offer entrance-based admission. Candidates cannot take direct admission into the UG and PG courses. All admissions at CSMU are based on merit only, following all relevant guidelines of the concerned regulatory bodies,  UGC and the State Government.

20 students can do M Sc. It is well recognised for offering the professional degree courses at the undergraduate level under the affiliation of Mumbai University. The popular courses offered by the Elphinstone College includes BA, B.Sc, and BCom. BA and B.Sc. are offered with three majors in different subject combinations with over 100 seats while BCom is offered with over 50 seats. 

DY Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics has a placement cell that works closely with students to assist them in obtaining jobs in their desired fields and preparing for placement interviews. The institute has concluded its placement drive for the batch 2022, and a total of 56 UG and 89 PG students were placed during DY Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics placements 2022. However, the institute has not released its 2023 placement details as of now. The Department of Biotechnology at Dr. DY Patil Arts, Commerce & Science College is committed to offering advanced pedagogical and hands-on training in different areas of biotechnology, and graduating students have consistently been hired into premier research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, clinical research, agricultural, bioinformatics firms, bioprocess corporations, food & beverages industries, etc. Internships are provided, and opportunities for students to gain experience in their discipline, determine if they have an interest in a particular career, and create a network of contacts are given due importance.
