The AME course lasts several years, divided into years of academic study and hands-on training. In Aircraft Engineer courses, the candidate can learn about the parts and operating ideas of aircraft. Candidates can choose the module of their choice because the DGCA has approved various modules.

In addition, the candidate needs to pass every module in order to get the authority's licence. The qualified aircraft engineer can also maintain the aircraft and accurately repair or replace the component.
