After the AAT results are declared, the candidates will have to check their qualifying status. If they have qualified the examination, then they can register for the common counselling process held by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Once the candidates are registered, they will have to fill out their choice of IIT in the order of preference. Allotment of seats will be done as per the candidates JEE Advanced rank, preferences, category and seat availability. After the allotment, the candidates will have to confirm their admission by reporting to their institute, paying the tuition fee and verifying their documents.

AAT cutoff will be prepared by the Joint Implementation Committee of JEE Advanced. The cutoff is prepared to determine the minimum marks that the candidates will have to secure in AAT to be considered qualified and eligible for the counselling and admission process. While preparing the AAT cutoff, the authorities will check various factors related to the entrance exam such as previous year trends, number of applicants, difficulty level of exam and more.

Before downloading the AAT result, the candidates are advised to carefully check the details present in the result. In case of any mistakes, the candidates are advised to immediately inform the authorities. However, it is to be noted that the authorities will not accept requests to review scores and the qualifying status. Since the authorities will prepare the result carefully, they will consider their decision as final and absolute.

No, the authorities will not release the section-wise or total obtained scores through the AAT result. The candidates will only be able to know their qualifying status through the result. Since admissions will be done based on JEE Advanced scores, the candidates will not require AAT scores during the counselling process. Therefore, the candidates are just required to qualify the entrance exam to be eligible for the BArch counselling process held by JoSAA.
