It's not compulsory to study math in 12th standard for B.Com. But in B.Com 1st year Mathematics (related to businesses Statistics will be compulsory.

No Science background is not compulsory to study BASLP. There are colleges they can join without Science background. Many western country doesn't consider it as a medical or allied health profession ( for ex: in Australia speech pathologist and audiologist doesn't consider as a health profession, that is the only one profession that doesn't comes under AHPRA. Rest all others including Psychology, Radiology, Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry, Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy comes under AHPRA)

Data Scientist is a technical course and involves use of subjects like Machine Learning, Data Analytics, python etc. A student with B.Tech / B.E. Or M.Tech / M.E. Degrees is generally preferred. However, if you take commerce, you can pursue your Bachelors in Statistics and learn relevant skills required for data scientist and pursue higher studies in the same field to become data scientist. Steps to Apply:
