St. Joseph's College, Bangalore, has been conferred a College of Excellence status by the University Grants Commission.
The college offers a 3-year BCom in two specializations (Industry Integrated and Regular) at the undergraduate level. Admission to this course is merit-based, and the cut-off is usually high. It is around 90% for general merit and 75% for reserved categories.
