It is actually, the best college in up for any undergraduate course. The teachers are really nice and actually know what they are teaching. They are specialized and seems to have a great experience as well. So studies wise, it's a big yes. There is a big library in the college itself, one can issue books from there so there is no need to spend money buying books from outside. Mobile phones are not allowed on the campus and attendance is quite strict (though I have bunked quite a few times myself).The college is not so big, so infrastructure wise, one can be a bit disappointed. If you are good at mathematics, especially probability and statistics, then you don't need to be worried. In the real world, you need three things to be a data scientist- (Which would depend on the projects you take on).
Learn this if you haven't, you will need this more than the other two if aren't familiar with anything in the field.
3. Coding-Since you are a student of commerce, I am assuming that you don't know coding. I suggest you start learning, and in a few months you will know enough to call yourself a coder! Coding is extremely fun, but also requires patience while solving/debugging tough problems.

Of course, you may pursue these courses together and in-fact, if you belong to commerce background, the Bachelor's degree programme must be pursued along with Company Secretary course because, it will save time and preparation for one will help the other and specially the CS course will help a lot in your B.Com programme. These courses are interrelated to certain level. A professional course like CA CWA and CS has a professional approach and it helps the student to have a higher level of knowledge in the respective field compared to the regular B.Com courses and it ultimately helps the students of degree programme in related field.
