SST and English are method papers in B.Ed through which you are learned to apply your learning skill in the class room. As you have done your graduation in commerce, definitely you have sufficient command in your subject. So, you can apply for TGT commerce. But, at the same time, if you have enough interest and knowledge in SST, you can apply for that.

If you have got good marks, you should go abroad. There, you will get more knowledge and they will also offer you job. You will get experience as well. If your marks is average, you can try to get admission in any government college. They doesn't care about you. Better join private university in India.

There is no problem in gaping your education. But, you may face the problem with your age bar. Not only in government sector, but private sector also have to fulfill some criterion where age play a major role. So, without delay, you must try for job just after completion of your Master's degree.

Most of the universities conduct entrance examination for candidates seeking admission in engineering degrees. All students who have completed in 12th board or in final year of 10+2 stage with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as a subject are eligible to appear for entrance examination. As you do not have Physics and Chemistry as subject in 10+2, you are advised to take these subjects as additional subject to anbecome engineer.
